Boston Spa Hockey Club has, under various names, been around for over 100 years and has got solid foundations within the local community. It’s a great family club with two, and sometimes three, generations of playing members from some families.

In 1906 the team looked like this:

Times change. They now look like this:

In recent years the hockey club has become an affiliated section of CALSA. This gives its members associate membership of CALSA and brings another group of sportsmen and sportswomen into the clubhouse. Saturday afternoons see many hockey players rubbing shoulders with the other members, eating a warming meal and sampling the various beverages.

Boston Spa Hockey Club currently runs 4 Mens teams and 1 Ladies Team, with home fixtures played at the Boston Spa School Astroturf pitch.

The club is immensely proud of its tradition and its ability to create a family atmosphere. It is always looking for new players to strengthen and expand the club so please visit the website or call club secretary Ken Peaker on 0113 2812079.
